Ayisha “Esha” Closs (she/her) provides administrative support to the Executive and Operations and Innovations team at Activating Change. Ayisha is a native of South Carolina, where she worked in the healthcare industry in Columbia, providing administrative support for 11 years. In 2019, Ayisha had an injury, that caused trauma to her vocal cords leaving her with a speech Impairment.

Through Activating Change, Ayisha is getting back to what she loves, helping people and organizations. She attended Benedict College, where she majored in Art Education. She has two children, Josiah (13), and Ayana (10). She enjoys planning family gatherings and reading. Working with Activating Change has given her a deep appreciation for their mission to end victimization, criminalization, incarceration, and institutionalization of people with disabilities and Deaf people.
