Kaitlin Shetler, MSW (she/her) is a senior program associate with Activating Change and has worked primarily on the Accessing Safety Initiative since 2018. She has a master's in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. Directly preceding her work with Activating Change, Kaitlin served five years as the Director of Disability Services at Lipscomb University, managing accommodations for hundreds of students with disabilities. Her work with the school's Title IX committee and the TN Association on Higher Education and Disability helped educate faculty and staff on the needs of students survivors of sexual assault with disabilities.

Kaitlin has over fourteen years of experience working with the disability community and the anti-violence movement. In addition to her work above, she has also worked at a domestic violence shelter, a rehabilitation center, and a psychiatric hospital. As a social worker, mom, woman, and person with a disability, Kaitlin is committed to work that challenges the ableism and societal structures that continually put disability and survivor communities in harm's way.
