We don’t just respond to
broken systems.
We change them.

People with disabilities and Deaf people deserve more than access to the systems that weren’t designed with them in mind. We bring together leaders, organizations, and communities to build systems where everyone can live with safety, justice, and freedom.

HOW WE CREATE CHANGE

Creating change that lasts.

Systems change happens at every level. These five strategies work together to ensure disability is never an afterthought - and that people with disabilities and Deaf people can live with safety, justice, and freedom.

01

Change the
Conversation

We shift how disability is understood across survivor advocacy, criminal justice, philanthropy, and public life.

02

Strengthen Organizations

We equip organizations with the knowledge, tools, and support to better serve people with disabilities and Deaf people.

03

Build
Partnerships

We bring together leaders, organizations, and communities to solve problems no one can solve alone.

04

Transform
Systems

We help reshape policies, practices, and institutions, so disability is never a barrier to safety, justice, or freedom.

05

Fill Critical
Gaps

We create new programs, resources, and solutions that respond to meet urgent and emerging needs.

OUR WORK IN ACTION

Two priorities.
One mission.

Our work focuses on two interconnected priorities: advancing survivor advocacy and transforming criminal legal systems. Together, they build a future where disability is never a barrier to safety, justice, or freedom.

Advancing Survivor
Safety and Justice

We are transforming survivor advocacy so survivors with disabilities and Deaf survivors can access safety, support, and justice without barriers.

Ending Mass Incarceration

We are transforming criminal legal systems so disability is never a pathway to arrest, incarceration or the loss of freedom.

Lasting change takes all of us.

We partner across movements to build systems that work for everyone.

We collaborate with survivor advocates, disability organizations, courts, public defenders, researchers, policymakers, and funders to remove barriers so people with disabilities and Deaf people can access safety, justice, and freedom.
